The first half of the second day in Lisbon was spent on an insane collectibles store Hyper-Toys which we discovered by accident and even more amazing Calouste Gulbenkian museum (which will get its own post next as the photo count for this day was very high).
Then we climbed all over steep streets of Alfama district to see National Pantheon and different viewpoints (Miradouros). We were 5 minutes late to get into the Lisbon Cathedral and just saw the giant door instead. We visited Castle of São Jorge at the sunset and then did a crazy night ride on a famous Tram 28 from Martim Moniz. Another 20k steps… and 36 floors of elevation 😅
Third day was less exhausting as we just went through Avenida da Liberdade to see Carmo Convent and back to the Baixa district to check out Rossio Square, Santa Justa Elevator from the bottom and later met with our friend Joao for drinks.
