On day five we left Lisbon and went south to Portimao in the Algarve region but the trip and changing places took most of the day so the next day we went to a nearby town of Carvoeiro situated along the coastline. What was waiting for us next were amazing beaches, limestone rocks and dramatic vistas.
We hiked along the cliffs and saw Praia de Albandeira, Praia de Marinha and famous Benagil Cave but the place that topped them was Algar Seco which we discovered by accident after sunset. It looked like it was taken right out of the Boba Fett series and the only thing that was missing were the Sand People. We also did 42 floors of elevation that day which was nuts 😅
